Great Amherst Song Contest

CKDH and the Amherst and Area Chamber of Commerce have teamed up to bring you the Great Amherst Song Contest. We’re looking for an orginal song of any genre. We’ve developed criteria based on Canadian Content rules which we have modified for Cumberland County Content. The acronymon we have developed is MAPLE. In order to qualify, all songs must be performed LIVE in Amherst, and have two more of the remaining four qualities. Songs can be submitted by email to: kitchenparty@ckdh.net
M – Music written by a current or previous resident of Amherst.
A – Amherst and Area serve as the inspiration for the song
P – Performed “LIVE” somewhere in Amherst
L – Lyrics written by a current or previous resident of Amherst.
E – Enthusiastic and Entertaining
